Seit 17 Jahren performt die Soul Family Klassiker ihres Genres in Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. Das Publikum liebt diese Show, zu der Sängerin Natalie Williams lädt. In London beehrten die charismatische Formation Musiker:innen wie Amy Winehouse, Jamie Cullum, Emeli Sandé oder JP Cooper, um nur einige zu nennen. An der diesjährigen Festivalausgabe präsentiert die Soul Family gleich mehrere Formate: Sie feiert die Ikonen des Neo-Soul und präsentiert eine Hommage an Motown, Philadelphia Soul und andere Retro-Klassiker. Vanessa Haynes – Backgroundsängerin von Van Morrisson, Chaka Khan und Frontfrau der Acid Jazz-Band Incognito – lässt die fantastische Aretha Franklin hochleben.
