The pianist, composer and producer Alex Wilson, European Jazz LUKAS Awards winner of 2018, is one of the most important initiators in Latin jazz in Europe. The Zurich-based musician is an artistic personality who builds bridges, arranges and integrates styles in an elegant way. Wilson composes for the Royal Opera House, Warner and Sony, and has released nine solo albums. As a jazz pianist, he can recall impressive collaborations in over 60 countries. At the Zermatt Unplugged Summer Weekends he will appear in a trio with percussionist Edwin Sanz and bass virtuoso Dimitris Christopoulos.
