For two years now, the young Zurich-based singer-songwriter Seb Lorez has been making waves across Switzerland. In 2019, he released his debut album Slide Away, performed in clubs, and opened for James Morrison at Zurich’s Volkshaus. Seb is a versatile musician who loves to experiment, constantly evolving and cultivating a relaxed aura around himself. Sometimes surf rock, other times leaning towards an ’80s vibe—Seb’s songs are groovy, poppy, and feature sophisticated compositions. In 2021, the musician participated in the Mountain Academy during the Zermatt Unplugged Summer Weekends, and one thing is clear: an artist of caliber is emerging here.
