When the heart is leaping for joy, then it's time to bring out the folk-pop gems of British duo Bear's Den. They made a meteoric rise in 2012 and opened for Mumford & Sons, Ben Howard and Arcade Fire. Highly prolific as they are, they released several EPs before dropping their debut album Islands in 2014 and Red Earth & Pouring Rain in 2016. Their most recent release Blue Hours hits a different note - influenced by the sounds of the 70's and the likes of Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles, Bear's Den nevertheless remain true to themselves as a folk-orientated band that celebrates life with a banjo, acoustic guitar and two-part vocals.
