Flyte

United Kingdom

Two guitars, two voices: we encounter wonderful harmonies and elaborate storytelling in the music of the London-based band Flyte. This duo named themselves after the literary character Sebastian Flyte, the eccentric English aristocrat from Evelyn Waugh's bestseller Brideshead Revisited. A bold reference, an exciting trick from the perspective of which the musicians view the world. Will Taylor and Nick Hill have known each other since youthhood and formed the band in 2014. They've released three albums since then. The Loved Ones, their 2017 debut album, was named "Best British Debut of the Year" by the Sunday Times. Their latest album Flyte offers exciting collaborations: Laura Marling, Billie Marten, Bombay Bicycle Club and M Field.
