Fran Vasilić

This year’s festival edition welcomes, for the first time, a musician from Croatia. Fran Vasilić is a singer-songwriter with a knack for social media. His influences include 2000s indie rock, dream pop, and the synth-pop of the Yugoslav era. With over four million followers on TikTok, he is streamed extensively in English-speaking regions, with his largest fan base in Malaysia. Having studied in Amsterdam, he found Zagreb artistically more inspiring. Now, the European West beckons, live and beyond the social media bubble: Fran Vasilić is heading out on a headlining tour.
