With chansonnier Francis Cabrel, Zermatt Unplugged continues the tradition of presenting outstanding French musicians. Cabrel's work has grown steadily in forty years. The musician has released over 20 albums with the unmistakable Southern French accent. Francis Cabrel performed with Jean-Jacques Goldman and France Gall. He composed for Patricia Kaas and wrote for Johnny Hallyday. Since the 90s, his music is gilded in Switzerland and cast in platinum. Chansons such as Petite Marie, La Corrida, and Sarbacane have been translated into other languages. With the bilingual interpretation of Je l'aime à mourir, Shakira presented a Francis Cabrel homage to the enormous audience of the Latin American world.
