For several years, a Dutch band has been making waves with a fresh approach. Marjin van der Meer and Jorrit Kleijnen, the founders of Haevn, met on a film set: they created film music together and discovered that their creations could stand on their own without visual art. Since their 2018 debut Eyes Closed, they have been captivating an ever-growing international audience with their wonderful songs, which work beautifully even with minimalist instrumentation.
