A raw, unbridled and truly remarkable evening awaits us at the Sunnegga Sessions when British artist Kate Nash does the honors. She’s a pop prodigy and activist, TV wrestling queen, icon of the feminist subculture. In 2007, at the age of twenty, she stormed the UK charts with the album Made of Bricks and achieved fame throughout Europe. She then fell victim to profiteers who sought to steer her towards the mainstream. "As a woman you can't even scream on an album, but as a man you can sing about raping a woman", she says indignantly in the award-winning BBC documentary Underestimate the Girl. Kate Nash has been making music without compromise, doing exactly as she pleases, for many years now. The force behind four albums and numerous EPs, she also promotes young musicians through the YouTube format Rock n Roll For Girls After-School Music Club.
