People the People

They're well-known guests at Zermatt's clubs: People the People. They've been thrilling audiences with their energetic live performances since 2021 and have even played a roller-skating concert. It's no coincidence that they're familiar faces in the Upper Valais region: singer, lyricist and jack-of-all-trades Jan Imboden is from Zermatt. This year's festival appearance is also a premiere for him. It's good old school music and a mix of rock, soul, jazz-rock with influences of funk and pop-rock that sweeps concertgoers off their feet. The spark flies and a good mood is guaranteed all round. In love with the music of the 60s and 70s, People the People have a few dozen of their own songs in their repertoire, alongside a handful of covers.
