Pool – back in 2013, they were three young punks from Hamburg. On the cusp of adolescence, they had a record deal with an American label in hand, and when The Guardian wrote about them, it drew comparisons to Franz Ferdinand, Hard-Fi, and suburban London types. Their debut album was called Snacks & Supplies. Pool toured Europe and the States with renowned indie bands. Several EPs, singles, and nine years later, now fine-tuned with a drummer, their second album Cool is out. It’s delightfully funky, disco, indie. This is going to be a blast when this band strips it down and presents their music acoustically.
