It's often said that musicians reinvent themselves, but if there's one artist who's remained true to himself from the start, it's Rea Garvey. A passionate rock enthusiast, a charismatic entertainer, a talent scout and witty coach on The Voice of Germany, he's been with us for more than 25 years. Rea Garvey has gifted us seven albums, first as the frontman of Reamonn, who headlined at Zermatt Unplugged in 2008, and later as a hugely successful solo artist. Four of those albums reached the top ten in Switzerland. Perhaps one of the secrets of this Irishman in Germany is his capacity to ignite our desire to be as relaxed and loveable as "Celtic Raymond" – a name he coined for himself in the doc YOU'LL BE GRAND. We can't wait to hear his storytelling, expertly woven into the soundtrack of his life, at the Vernissage.
