Where The Wild Things Grow: 25 years after ushering in the post-Britpop era, Starsailor are back with a lush sound and tracks brimming with wonder and beauty. They were among the very first bands to take the stage at Zermatt Unplugged in 2007, and helmsman James Walsh, who subsequently ventured into solo work, remained closely connected to the festival for several years: he has a deep understanding of our event, Zermatt, and its visitors. In 2002, Starsailor filled in for Coldplay, who had to cancel due to their lead singer's illness during the Rolling Stones' Licks Tour. It was no mean feat, yet Starsailor managed to wow an audience that had never even heard of them. This accomplishment reflects a band whose consistently compelling songwriting resonates globally without the need for excessive sentimentality. Starsailor is a part of pop history. This straightforward, acoustic approach allows the true intensity of their music to unfold.
