Born in Barbados, William White began writing and performing his own songs at the age of twelve. Inspired by Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, and others, he developed his own style of country music with gripping lyrics and gained his first stage experience with an a cappella group.
At 19, he moved to Switzerland, where he quickly began writing and performing songs for up to four bands, playing everything from reggae to funk, rock to punk, and folk. William had found his calling and decided to give up his studies. As the frontman of Liz Libido, he built a steadily growing fan base, performed at major events in Montreux and St. Gallen, and established the band as an intimate and outstanding live act.
