2025 – Zermatt Unplugged

The Mountain Academy 2025 follows on from last year's successful edition and remains true to its focus: the promotion of Swiss singer-songwriters.

From 5 to 10 April 2025, the Zermatt Unplugged Festival is once again inviting six promising newcomer acts to take part in an exclusive and interactive program. The aim of the Academy is to strengthen the participants on their path as singer-songwriters, promote their creative development and provide them with long-term support.

The first part of the Academy focuses on developing new songs. These will be presented to the festival audience in the second part of the program in the form of showcases. Hannah V, an internationally renowned musician, songwriter and producer, has been brought in for workshops and coaching around the songwriting sessions, offering participants valuable insights and support.

The Academy is complemented by a varied supporting program with masterclasses, talks, hikes, jam sessions and concert visits. In the inspiring mountain world far away from everyday life, a creative environment is created that not only imparts knowledge but also motivates and provides new impetus.
