Dear Visitors, Friends and Partners of Zermatt Unplugged

With a heavy heart we have to inform you that Zermatt Unplugged 2020 will not take place. In the wake of the Coronavirus crisis, the Federal Council massively tightened up the nationwide measures and increased the ban on events. According to this, all events with more than 100 people are now prohibited until at least 30.04.2020.

Accordingly, the difficult decision had to be made in coordination with local and regional authorities as well as Zermatt Tourism to cancel the Zermatt Unplugged 2020 edition.

The emotional and financial impact of this cancellation hits us hard as an organizer and team. Out of respect and responsibility towards our visitors, artists, partners and employees, a cancellation at the present time is the only viable option.

The team will work intensively in the coming months to mitigate the negative economic consequences and create the necessary framework in order to carry out the festival in 2021 from 13-17 April.
