A voice from the United Kingdom has been intoxicating us for a decade now: Birdy. Perceived then as an almost otherworldly being, the artist had her breakthrough when she was just 14 years old. Birdy has already achieved at a young age things others can only dream of: five internationally successful top ten albums, numerous BRIT Awards and nominations, five billion streams on Spotify. In the summer of 2023, the artist released her Album Portraits, which sees her take a stylistically new and, for her, musically atypical path. "If I'd have heard this sound a couple of years ago, I'd have freaked out," she revealed in an interview with WELT. Up-tempo, drums, synth, disco sound. We can't wait to hear how these new songs, along with such Birdy classics as People Help the People, Wings and Skinny Love, work in the intimate setting of an acoustic concert.
