The Dutch DJ and producer duo Dam Swindle has its very own way of telling stories. Wherever a cliché lurks, at the edge of an expected feeling, that's where Dam Swindle makes an unexpected turn and steers the crowd to dance in a different direction. And they dance, full of euphoria, all night long. From deep house and obscure disco to African funk and soul-soaked techno: the palette that Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets draws on is expansive. The list of artists who've worked with them includes some remarkable names: Eric Clapton, John Mayer and the Blue Note musicians Tom Misch and Seven Davies Jr.
