Over the last ten years, Lucy Rose has released four remarkable albums that have scaled the heights of the UK albums chart. She has also succeeded in garnering a huge international fan base. Touching and warm, this is music with a crystal-clear voice. Her lodestars are Neil Young and Joni Mitchell. Lucy's songwriting is profound, it explores feelings and situations. It is succinct, reduced and classically composed. Paul Weller and Bombay Bicycle Club have already succumbed to her magic: they chose Lucy Rose to be part of their productions – as did Sir Elton John: he invited Lucy Rose to open his concert at Hyde Park in 2003.
