Delicately orchestrated, easy-going, gentle and sweet: every word, every note burns itself into the soul. They're wonderful songs and melodies in which the French musician November Ultra invites us to bathe. She unites a myriad of forgotten references – French musicals from the 60s, Spanish copla, jazz, pop, rhythm and blues – to create a fantastic and much greater whole. Nova, to give November Ultra her real name, has Spanish-Portuguese roots. After dropping several EPs and her 2022 debut album Bedroom Walls, she's now touring French-speaking Europe. And things really did go ultra when Latin pop star Camila Cabello shared her music on TikTok.
