When she sings, people are happy, she herself is happy. Her music is simple and straightforward. Hey, Joni Mitchell, hey, Joan Baez! Ny Oh draws on a joyful heart. She works at the root of feeling. She learned to play keyboard at the age of four, taught herself several instruments, wrote her first songs at the age of twelve, was on tour with Harry Styles in her early twenties. How did that happen? She was carried by the wind. Born in England, raised in New Zealand, then London, now Los Angeles, Ny Oh's delightfully ethereal sound invariably conveys a fresh sea breeze and soft glint of sunlight.
