Nostalgic feelings, the magic of peripheral places, stories of letting go and moving on: who, if not the Berlin band SIND, knows how to set such ambivalent feelings to music? Intoxicating rock music with a maximum-pop approach: the producers of Bilderbuch and Von Wegen Lisbeth also have their finger in this pie. What's fascinating is that Berlin codes in songs like Karlshorst, Kino Kosmos and Templin don't just work for residents of Germany's capital, the universal noise floor of this music can be understood by anyone.
