In 2018, the band Josh stepped into the spotlight at Zermatt Unplugged with a new name: Black Sea Dahu. Since then, the group has become well-known within the music business, toured worldwide and made a name for itself on the international circuit. Is that perfect magic down to the Dahu, a mythical creature with two long legs and two short legs that help it maneuver effortlessly on steep mountain slopes? Or the songs from the album White Creatures that stream incessantly around the globe? Or Janine Cathrein’s unmistakable alto voice? Of course, it’s all of the above. Black Sea Dahu is unfathomable, mysterious and beautiful. February sees the release of the band’s new album: I am My Mother.
